Whether or not your existing concrete flooring can be repaired correctly will depend on a number of factors. First, the actual extent of the damage must be assessed. If the entire floor has erupted with dents or low spots, the damage might be secondary to a much larger problem and the cause should be determined immediately. Any damage that shows up overnight should also be investigated. You should never go to sleep one night and wake to find a seven inch gash in the middle of your floor, as this would indicate a serious problem with the foundation.

If the damage is gradual and fairly contained, then repairing the concrete floor should only be a matter of deciding the method that you want to use.
